Using a simple php-framework with IPBWI as plugin.
My framework gets the content via modules in the project/site subdirectory, the modules include IPBWI to communicate with the IPB database.

vacation/beta/drupal

There are some news which may affect different users, but I merged it into one post. amazing!

I’m on vacation until 05th of august.

I’m working hard on IPBWI’s products and customer projects. But the next week I’ll be completely off and will enjoy my yearly 1-week-vacation without internet or cellphone, completely disconnected from the wired and wireless super-electric-world-wide-internet. This will give me enough power for developing stunning new features :)

v3.3.0 beta 2 will be out in august

I’ve got awesome feedback about the new “Loading WordPress Widgets in IP.board” feature. That shows me that IPBWI for WordPress maybe isn’t the cheapest bridge between WordPress and IP.board, but it’s currently far the most powerful one. I’ve got great bugreports from my users, most directly via email from new customers who are trying to use the beta – thats cool 8-) . I’ll work hard to eliminate all these bugs to make a final release as soon as possible. Do not hesitate to try out the beta and report me the bugs you’ve found.

IPBWI for Drupal – Crowdfunding phase struggle

I’ve prepared the Crowdfunding Campaign for IPBWI for Drupal carefully. And you know it: when everything is prepared, it will fail in detail ;) Normally, the campaign should be switched from starting phase (“collect fans”) to finance phase (“collect funders”). Normally. In my case, the crowdfunding plattform decided to refuse my project switching from starting phase to finance phase, because “there is a new feature allowing promotion videos in more than one languages”. As I am from Germany, the crowdfunding plattform thought, it could be important to my target group getting my promotion video translated in German (it’s originally dubbed in my bad English). So the crowdfunding plattform refused switching me to finance phase, set the project offline! and informed me about the new feature -_-. I’ve just informed them, that I refuse their refusal. IPBWI and IPBWI for Drupal are international products for international customers and users.

There is no reason why I should create a video for 0,001 % possible users from Germany which will result in a delay of 1-2 additional weeks.
There is no reason refusing my project after 30 days of starting phase is finished.
There is no reason letting interested users and potential funders wait for 0,001% of my users.

As I am on vacation next week, there is a chance that the project will get switchted to funding phase – and I don’t have a chance to promote it.

So if you are interested in an IPBWI plugin for Drupal: Become a fan now, bookmark the project’s website and hope that you are one of the first getting the limited early bird package when the finance phase starts.

PS: If there are 5 German users replying to this topic that they want to get the promotion video translated into German, they’ll get it.

So, here’s the link to the crowdfunding campaign (english): http://www.startnext.de/en/ipbwi-for-drupal
