Focus on “Field to Farm”

Providing Single Sign On is one of the key features of IPBWI for WordPress. And it’s one of the most complicated mechanism. My installation service for IPBWI for WordPress is great for those customers, who just want to get this feature work – without having deep technical knowledge about cookies, synced databases and so on. Ordering my installation service gives you more time for your core competencies – and for reaching your target.

So let’s read, what Steven says about my service:

Field to Farm was setup to advertise a book that explains how to live on agricultural land legally in the UK, without the need for planning permission. Up until Field to Farm was written there was no way for the average individual to setup a smallholding while living on their agricultural land. For most people equity is tied up in their homes so the ability to live on their land is key to making their dream of starting a smallholding a success. WordPress was chosen as the CMS for it’s SEO addons and because google loves to index it. It became clear after a few months, given the volume of email traffic, that we should create a support forum for the book owners. After comparing multiple pieces for forum software IPB was chosen. There are now approximately 8000 members in the Field to Farm community. A lot of those members ask questions related to the book, get free advice on some very complicated planning permission related questions (which would often cost thousands of pounds from a consultant) and some even post diaries to let others see their progress as they setup their small holding. The system outlined in the book takes several years to run through to ultimately gaining planning permission for a house. During that time people can post questions on the forum to help them through dealing with local planning authorities.

When I saw IPBWI I thought it would be a fantastic idea to integrate the two sections of the site. The single sign on would encourage forum users to break out of that area into the other parts of the site where they could post and comment on articles. Given the size and complexity of WordPress, IPB and the 30+ addons installed I decided to engage Matthias to do the installation.

Matthias provided an instant quote which was very reasonable. The payment method was quick (paypal) and he started work immediately. We now have single sign-on ability with IPBWI and later on I hope to use the custom blocks on the front page of the site to showcase the latest forum posts and number of members. There were a few minor problems with user authentication which I know would have taken me forever to fix if I had tried to do the installation. Matthias noticed these immediately and worked with the users of the forum directly to resolve any problems. From start to finish the process took about 4 hours from requesting the installation to it all running which I was very pleased with. Matthias has also offered ongoing support should I run into any problems and also a free install of the final edition of IPBWI once released. Overall I couldn’t be happier – what looked like a very complicated thing to setup became a great unexpected success. I’d recommend the installation service to anyone else out there hoping to integrate their WordPress forum with Invision Power Board.

Thanks,

Steven Acreman – person in charge of fieldtofarm.com

Focus on “The Free Kick”

Many users are trying to install IPBWI for WordPress themself – and some fail. I’m always looking for making installation procedure as easy as possible. But we are talking about technical stuff: Single Sign On, Cookies, correct serversidepaths, etc. – many user’s don’t want to become experts in stuff like this.

For those, I’m offering an installation service for just 129 Euro. But does this service worths it’s money? I’ve asked the admin of thefreekick.com, who ordered my service, how satisfied he finally is about my work. TFK is an Irish website dedicated to bringing Irish sports news and opinion to an adoring public.

I purchased the IPBWI for WordPress integration and the professional installation service for www.thefreekick.com from ipbwi.com

The application was installed immediately after payment and the integration between IP Board and WordPress is working perfectly with “single sign on” and new members registering on both systems. Matthias provided an excellent after-sales service answering my queries and taking time to solve issues on my board itself, including work to ensure the application worked better with my custom IP Board skin. He is always available to answer basic and complicated queries and provides informative answers very quickly.

I would have no hesitation in recommending the IPBWI for WordPress application or the excellent professional integration service from Matthias. – Rory Byrne, CEO of thefreekick.com
